The benefits of yoga

Looking for a good reason to try yoga?

Well, there are hundreds of benefits that come with practising this ancient art – regardless of your age or fitness level.

One of yoga’s greatest physical benefits is increased flexibility. You might not be able to touch your toes at the start of your first class, but over time you feel your body begin to loosen and those seemingly impossible poses will become second nature.

Vinyasa yoga

Vinyasa yoga is what you might call a ‘dynamic’ form of yoga, featuring a sequence of classic poses that are executed with energy and enthusiasm.

Vinyasa yoga can be challenging, but we encourage you to practice at your own pace and the long-term benefits are incredible.

Hatha yoga is all about a slower pace and the peace that comes from complete relaxation.

Suitable for all ages, this class also incorporates elements of Pilates and Tai Chi.
